First Signs of the NFL Draft in Nashville
We were downtown in Music City to attend a concert by one-time Arena League owners KISS on April 9, 2019. While strolling along Broadway and the river front we observed a team of about two dozen men in the process of constructing the largest stage to ever be built in the state of Tennessee where the newest giants of the gridiron will be introduced later in the month.
We were also actively looking for other signs of the impending NFL Draft and the amazing party and celebration of American Football that it will bring with it to the Volunteer State. When we looked up the recently built Bridgestone Headquarters - we saw a huge six-story sponsorship sign hanging in the heart of the downtown.
So, there it is. The NFL Draft is on its way and will descend upon Nashville from April 25th through the 27th. Experts in the town are calling it the biggest media event to ever take place in the Country Music Capitol of the World.
Downtown Nashville's Lower Broadway and the area around Nissan Stadium will host free, public activities. Events will include the NFL Draft Experience - a three-day football festival held at Nissan Stadium. Representing the largest festival footprint ever created by the NFL, fans can participate in interactive exhibits, immersive games, virtual reality experiences, free player autograph sessions and more. Also included will be a full calendar of concerts by rising talent and some of Nashville's biggest stars.
There's still time to get to Nashville for the biggest party ever held in the name of American Football. I know we'll be going for sure and we hope to see y'all there.
